Kia Ora and a huge welcome to our AUMSA whānau!

My name is Sung-Min, President of AUMSA for 2018, and it is my pleasure to congratulate you on becoming a medical student here at the University of Auckland. When I was accepted, I was overwhelmed with a sense of disbelief and sheer excitement. I think it is important that you take this moment to realise just what you have achieved. You are now embarking on a journey at medical school where the end destination will see you graduate with the title of Doctor before your name. I find studying medicine a privilege, an opportunity that I truly relish. Through your perseverance and determination, you too have been judged to be deserving and have earned this privilege.
